Light Up the Slopes!
Children's Torchlit Descent
Experience a magical evening with esf Le Corbier at our famous Children's Torchlit Descent.
Accompanied by our instructors, children light up the slopes in a magical atmosphere. Torch in hand, they enjoy a unique experience filled with pride, excitement and unforgettable family memories.
From the foot of the slopes, watch the spectacular procession and admire the beautiful ribbon of lights winding its way down the mountain beneath the stars.
To round off the evening, esf Le Corbier invites you to enjoy a complimentary glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate.

Practical information:
- Dates: 24 December 2025 (with Father Christmas), 31 December 2025, and every Wednesday from 7 January to 18 March 2026.
- Who can take part? Children who have achieved, or are currently working towards, the 1st Star level.
- Price: €6 per child.
- Meeting point: In front of the esf office, 45 minutes before the torchlit descent.

Flèche and Chamois
Ready to Test Your Skills?
Fancy putting your technique to the test and seeing how fast you can go? Every week, the esf Le Corbier instructors organise the Flèche and Chamois tests, open to all skiers looking to challenge themselves.
The Flèche
A Giant Slalom race lasting around 40 seconds, featuring 25 to 35 gates over a vertical drop of 200 to 250 metres.
The Chamois
A Special Slalom race lasting around 30 seconds, featuring 30 to 40 gates over a vertical drop of 120 to 200 metres.
Your performance in each event is calculated by comparing your time with the reference time set by an esf instructor acting as the course setter. Your result is then expressed as a percentage difference from the reference time.
